【摘要】:Therainspraytestdescribedin8.1asMethodAisbaseduponTestMethodE331whichisintendedforuseintheevaluationofexteriorwindows,curtainwalls,anddoors.ThistestmethodisintendedtosupplementthewaterspraytestinPracticeE823thatdoesnotincludetheeffectsofwind-drivenrain.Thismethodincludestheuseofapressuredifferentialtoenhancethepenetrationofwaterintotheassemblybeingtested.Thistypeofpressuredifferentialcanoccurwithmanytypesofsolarcollectormountingconfigurations.Inthecaseofsolarcollectorsthatformabuildingelement,forexample,aroof,thispressuredifferentialwillbecausedbydifferencesofpressureinsideandoutsidethebuilding.Inthecaseofsolarcollectorsmountedonstandoffsorracks,thispressuredifferentialwillbecausedbypositiveandnegativewindforcesactingsimultaneouslyonfacesofthecollector.Waterleakageduetojointexpansioncanbeinfluencedbyseveralfactors,including:thespecificcollectordesignandmaterialsused,thetestspecimentemperature,andthewaterspraytemperature(Note1),inadditiontothepressuredifferential.Thetemperatureconditionswillvaryinoutdoorexposure.Thetesttemperaturesshouldbeselectedtoberepresentativeofoutdoorconditionswherethecollectorswillbeused.Note18212;Waterspraytemperaturesarelikelytorangefrom4.5x00B0;Cto29.4x00B0;C(40to85x00B0;F).1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheresistanceofflatplatesolarcollectorstowaterpenetrationwhenwaterisappliedtotheiroutersurfaceswithastaticairpressureattheoutersurfacehigherthanthepressureattheinteriorofthecollector.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletoanyflatplatesolarcollector.1.3Theproperuseofthistestmethodrequiresaknowledgeoftheprinciplesofpressureanddeflectionmeasurement.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionaryinformationiscontainedinSection6.
